It is called the Razer Phone and it has very competitive specs compared to the current series of Android flagship smartphones available in the market.

Razer acquired smartphone maker Nextbit earlier this year and Razer Phone looks a lot like the Nextbit Robin cloud phone.

The phone run Android 7.1 (Nougat) out of the box. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, and has 8GB of RAM but there is just 64GB of internal storage.

The phone also has a bezel around the display. It also has a 5.7-inch LCD display, with the 2,560 x 1,440 resolution with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. The Razer Phone’s display is capable of the ultra-fast 120Hz refresh rate.

It has dual 12-megapixel cameras on the rear with different levels of optical zoom — one wide angle, one telephoto. There is a 8-megapixel cam on the front for selfies.

Razer has a 4000mAh battery and it becomes the first smartphone to support Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 4.0+ charging as standard.

As with the Nextbit Robin, they’ve hidden the fingerprint sensor in the power button on the side.

Razer Phone is priced at $699 (around Rs. 45,000) and will release in the US and Europe on November 17.
